My name is Sabine ter Huurne.
A few years ago I started breeding Siamese and Oriental shorthairs.
I chose my first Siamese for its special temperament. Many people say this breed is addictive, in my case it’s definitely the truth. The result: Cattery het Paddestoeltje. Because I was very interested in the (colour) genetics of cats, I followed the basic genetics course and the follow-up course. I passed both. This makes breeding even more fun because I can now focus on colour more specifically. The most important thing of course is the health of the animals. The parent animals are all tested for PRA and new fiv/felv tests are carried out at least every six months.
